There are seasons in our lives where we recognise that something needs our attention.
Not because we are broken.
But because we have been carrying, holding, giving, navigating and moving for so long that we have forgotten what it feels like to deeply listen to ourselves.
HINEORA is an immersive wāhine experience within Te Haerenga o te Mauri - a progressive journey of reconnection, embodied wellbeing and cultural connection.
Held amongst the whenua of Waihoanga Riverside Lodge, HINEORA creates intentional space for wāhine Māori to step away from the demands of everyday life and return to what strengthens them.
Tinana. Wairua. Whakapapa. Whenua. Whanaungatanga. Mauri

We don't believe meaningful change happens through one powerful weekend alone.
Te Haerenga o te Mauri is intentionally designed as a progressive pathway, allowing wāhine time to build connection, develop greater self-awareness, learn practical wellbeing tools and establish trust before entering the HINEORA immersive.
Each stage builds upon the one before it
Not rushing
Not forcing
But creating the conditions for deeper connection to unfold naturally.
Our journey begins with pounamu.
Each wāhine will create her own taonga while being guided through intentional pātai and reflection around where she is, what she has been carrying and what she chooses to strengthen and carry forward.
The process invites us to slow down.
To work with our hands.
To reflect.
To connect.
And to create something that carries meaning beyond the experience itself.
Your taonga journeys with you throughout Te Haerenga o te Mauri - becoming a physical reminder of your intention, your connection and the season of life you are stepping into.

Through a series of preparation wānanga, we begin exploring the different layers of our wellbeing.
HINENGARO
Develop greater awareness of your internal world — your thoughts, patterns, emotions and the ways you respond when life becomes demanding.
TINANA
Learn to listen differently to your body.
Explore your nervous system, recognise your responses to stress and overwhelm, and develop practical regulation tools you can use within everyday life.
WAIRUA
Create space to reconnect with your wairua, intuition, whakapapa and the parts of yourself that can become quieter beneath the demands of life.
Throughout these experiences, we also establish something fundamental:
Whanaungatanga.
Because meaningful spaces are not created by asking people to open up.
They are created by establishing enough safety and trust that people can choose to.

Guided breath practices to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and deep inner restoration. Through Hā, wāhine will journey beyond the mind and into connection with their mauri, wairua, and innate wisdom, using the breath as a sacred bridge to healing, remembrance, and spiritual connection.

Awaken your inner wahine toa (warrior) and build tools to navigate life's challenges with confidence and grace. Through Mau Patu, we'll explore discipline, focus, and flowing movement, not from a place of aggression, but from a place of mana, balance, and self-trust. Together we'll learn how to stand strong when challenges arise, move with intention, and remember that being powerful doesn't mean being hard. It means knowing who you are and backing yourself.
Nau mai, haere mai wāhine mā. Come ready to learn, move, connect, and have some laughs along the way.

Explore sacred spiritual hygiene and connective practices designed to strengthen your relationship with Papatūānuku, whenua, and self. Through grounded teachings and embodied experiences, wāhine will learn how to care for their energetic wellbeing, deepen their connection to mauri and wairua, and walk with greater clarity, discernment, and self-trust.

Intentional clearing and releasing of what no longer serves you within the sacred waters of Lake Taupō. Through wai, breath, and presence, wāhine are invited to reconnect with their mauri, restore balance, and return home to themselves

I'm passionate about helping wāhine reconnect with who they truly are and discover ways to move through life that work with their natural flow, not against it.
Through Human Design and Mau Patu, I love creating spaces where wāhine can explore their unique strengths, trust their intuition, and step into their own mana.
My approach is grounded in the belief that, like water, we are strongest when we move with our own currents. Expect a mix of insight, movement, laughter, and practical tools that you can take home and weave into everyday life.
